Everything is great except the amount of time it took to check in. There were 5-6 parties ahead of us waiting in line to check in. It took each party close to 10 minutes to be checked in by the front-desk, although they had 3-4 staff checking people in. We arrived late at night and were so tired, so that didn't help at all.

Good for a late Bangkok arrival - easy walk through tunnel to hotel and stretch legs after a long flight. Close to walk back to train for transport.

It is a very convenient location if you want to stay close to the airport. Unfortunately the location is the only benefit to staying here. The rooms are very dated, they could definitely use a renovation. The shower is terrible. The water temperature is very difficult to regulate. It's either too hot or too cold. The shower fixture is the worst, I'm amazed I did not injure myself. The controls stick out about a foot from the wall. While showering, you're going to bang into it which will change the water temperature and potentially injure you from the sharp corners of the handle. Unless they renovate, I'll be staying elsewhere even if it means a farther commute to the airport.

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had! I have never experienced such accommodating and dedicated staff! Amenities were outstanding. Breakfast was convenient, delicious, and had long hours to accommodate visitors with different flight times. I didn’t want to leave.

Service and staff were great. The lobby was nice. The room was the awful. It smelled like mold and I found black mold on the wall. My room was hammered, with every hard surface chipped and worn. I'm not at all a hotel snob, but this is well below what I expected from a Hyatt given how nice the Hyatt is at SFO. I stayed here because of proximity and a very early flight. I have pictures I'll post on various sites when Im back on the ground.

A perfectly reasonable and convenient airport hotel! While the common areas are quite modern and the staff is lovely and helpful, the rooms themselves are dated and given the quality of room you can get for a similar price in Bangkok city proper, I hope they remodel their rooms to meet the level of their peers.

The Hyatt at BKK airport was just converted from a Novotel and hopefully there is a major renovation coming. The staff was great. Friendly and helpful. The hotel is connected to the main terminal via a tunnel and is perfect to sleep for a few hours and shower before a flight or long layover. The room was clean but the product is extremely tired. Everything looks very shabby. The carpet is worn out, furniture beat up etc. the rate was a good value and would stay again passing through Bangkok’s main airport. The sports bar was fine for a cocktail and sandwiches but had the most bizarre menu. Quesadillas with sweet potatoes and no cheese is an example. I mention it because if there was a better menu we would have stayed longer and spent more.
