Not what I expected for the money.
We just got back from a long weekend. The hotel was kind of noisy due to kids running around who were staying for various sporting events. Having been in that scene at one time, this didn't particularly bother us and everyone was friendly and having a good time. Our room seemed to have constant humidity, but with not bathroom fan, I'm not surprised. Bathrooms are also ridiculously small for a room with sleeping for four. Near us a smoke alarm kept going off at all hours of the night (midnight, 2am, 4am 6am). We called the front desk and I know many others did, but they never fixed it. Also when we checked in we inquired about possibly an extra room, told all booked, but the day before when we confirmed reservations we were told 42 availability. However, the website still showed available rooms. Office also told us complimentary breakfast included but the restaurant told us that wasn't true. Management just didn't seem concerned enough to get information straight or fix the fire alarm issue. Housekeeping wonderfully nice and helpful. Proximity to beach, outstanding!

We arrived and we had to check in at the neighboring hotel. I had to call the hotel to see ask where to check in, they had a sign outside the main office that said “check in” and then an arrow pointing left. When I called to ask for check in directions the staff was rude. We were there for three nights and our beds were never made, at one point staff just left a bag full of towels, toilet paper, our trash was not taken out.

This was off season so less restaurant availability on the property but many restaurants close but still a drive.Rooms were clean and very casual. Laminate flooring which I liked. Great porch. The beach was very close. I could see and hear the ocean. I felt safe enough to sleep with the door open to the porch. There was a screen. The outlets worked and were convenient. The pod coffee was good- not cheap no name brand. They didn't charge for bottled water in the rooms. Staff were polite, helpful, low key. The fountain in the pool was turned off by 8p which was great. It was pretty loud.

After seeing some negative reviews I was a little apprehensive regarding our stay. I was very pleasantly surprised and we had a wonderful 3 night stay. The room was newly renovated and my boys loved having their own bunk beds. I asked upon arrival to have the room cleaned and swept daily rather than just the towel change and this was done. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and had plenty of clean towels and seats, the staff were helpful and accommodating. The kids club activities were mainly for younger children but my 10 & 11 year olds did enjoy the kite making. The best part was the private beach, which was 16 steps from our room. Beautiful white sand and clear water. The loungers and umbrella were set up by request every morning. Watching the sunset was amazing. The food choices were a little limited but there are many restaurants nearby, the lobster boat was fantastic! We had a wonderful stay and i would definitely recommend this hotel for families and plan to return next summer.

This is my 3rd. & last time to this Motel. My first 2 trips were exceptional! The property has exhanged ownership and it is obvious. There are no microwaves in the rooms. If you wanted to heat your food/beverage; you have to walk across the property to use the microwave or get ice. The bathtub looked grossed as the enamel had peeled in spots and they painted over it. No carpet on the flooring....I Will Never Spend My Money to Stay Here Again!!!!
