It was a guest house where check in was from 5pm. We arrived early and went into town which was a very close walk.
We got back just after 6pm and still no one there. There was no bell or intercom so we rang the number on the door without success.
We then contacted Hotels.com who at first try, cut me off!!
I rang again and they tried the number without an answer, why, as I had already told them that.
Anyway someone then came to the door and let us in.
As we were to males we booked the triple room with king bed and single bed.
When we checked in the lady asked if we were sleeping together?
When we said a resounding no she commented that there was no message of needing the extra bed and so we had to wait while she went to make the other bed.
The room was huge and very good, the bathroom was great.
At breakfast we saw who we believe was the husband, and although very nice he was at first a bit abrupt.
The croissant and pan au chocolate were already set out, one of each on every table. I don't like pan au chocolate, but felt intimidated to point that out, so i put it to one side.
As stated as the husband was there all the time i felt intimidated and uncomfortable and didnt enjoy the breakfast.
The guesthouse is in a grest location and highly recommend the restaurant just round the corner, food was superb.
