Extremely hot room.
Hotel was modern. The restaurant was lovely for dinner and drinks. The bed sheet was stained. No air conditioning which I know was stated when booking but I did not expect the room to be as unbearably hot as it was. Staff were not helpful with trying to find solutions for this. We had to ask for an additional fan rather than be offered it. Seems strange that the hotel has computerised check in machines, robots in the restaurant but can’t afford air con. I thought the cost of the room was too much for how unbearably hot the room was. I will not return which is a shame as the restaurant was lovely.

Pleasant stay, nice location, we were unfortunate in that there was a lot of noise from spa; our room was ground floor and backed directly onto outside pool which was in use 8-late. Breakfast order was incorrect but quickly rectified, good food, nice views from restaurant onto lake. Would stay again but request quiet room next time!

Nice place, shame about the noise!
On arrival to the hotel we were very happy with the friendly welcome and our room. Unfortunately we discovered that a heat pump or air conditioning pump was located not far from our window, (By the health spa) the noise it created was enough to give us a disturbed night of sleep as it kept on turning on and off throughout the night. Either the pump needs relocating or the rooms could do with being better soundproofed. Lovely location and a nice breakfast to finish off our stay, would definitely stay again but recommend requesting a room away from the Spa.

Disappointing
The room was very small and extremely hot. Two fans were provided, but made very little difference. The bathroom mirror is heated and comes on when the bathroom light is on, turns off when you turn the light off. Could have preferred a swotch of its own. Tv was very temperamental and had limited channels. Dust and cobwebs under the tv and under side unit. Vanity mirror came off the wall several times. Staff were friendly and quite wonderful. Y Spa was a dream.

The staff were friendly and the property itself was in a beautiful location. The 70 minute massage (£103) was from 11:08 to 12:09 so was actually a 60 minute massage. Which for the price isn’t acceptable if it’s advertised as 70 minutes. The breakfast buffet wasn’t great- first day my friend and I halved the last small hash brown and the scrambled eggs were over cooked with no other fresh eggs there. I also asked if I could order from the menu instead and couldn’t until another half an hour.
