I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel unless you absolutely have to. The bathrooms were disgusting, and the hotel itself was dingy and dirty. The front desk might shift was awful and was never even at the desk when needed. The pool is nice though, and the slide is fun. One thing not included on their information however is that it’s an additional fee to use the slide on the pool. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

Staff at front desk were super polite. Overall property was clean and a good location. The morning of our stay, the bathroom shower ceiling started leaking. Were unable to shower. Not cool. Management gave us $10 refund. That’s all. Not staying at a Howard Johnson again.

Stopped here on our way to Sturgis. Was an amazing hotel. We had so much fun on the water slide and the hot tub was amazing after such a long ride. Plan on staying again on our way back through to Oregon

The hotel was in a great location for us to see the hot air balloons but the tub was dirty and the slide for the pool was $5 a kid and I have 3 kids.. the breakfast was good but we couldn't bring it to our room.

Friendly staff but horrible environment
The hotel was filthy. It stunk. Nobody cleans it. People there trying to sell drugs. They charge too much for a terrible environment. The lady at the counter was very nice though. The only reason review gets 2 stars is because of the lady’s friendliness.

The room was dirty, especially the floors. We had hardwood floors that were filthy. The hallway carpet was filthy had dirt and debris on the steps. We had to change rooms because our air conditioning wasn't working.

Dont use the toilet paper
Hotel is out dated. It needed to be cleaned. My husband went to ask for an extra blanket and the front desk guy brought it down. I happened to be in the restroom where it felt like you had to fall on the floor to sit on the toilet. I found the toilet paper a what looked like new roll nasty. My husband handed to the desk clerk and all he had to say "Thats great" he didnt apologize for the inconveniences. The beds are hard and you can feel the springs. There are light switches that dont work and they have tried to repaint. Overall decided we would not stay again.

DONT NOT STAY HERE!!! UNSAFE for YOU and ESPECIALLY CHILDREN!! Avoid at ALL COST. OPEN NEEDLES, BLOOD SPLATTER AND STAINS. Booked a non smoking 2 queen bedroom and it smelled it horrible! Urine smells and dirty stained toilets. All pictures they posted about the hotel are not accurate as they advertise. My family and I currently fighting to get a refund. The owner Nasima is so rude and basically told us that it’s not her job to up keep that place and won’t refund us our money. Filed a complaint with local health services and they had multiple complaints. We will be filing more against them.

Okay for a night but price a bit high
Paid 5 dollars for each one of my kids to play on the waterslide. Other children did not have wristbands. Ice machine in building A does not work no sign on it to let you know either you must go to building c down a long hallway to get ice. 3 towels for 2 queen vbeds and a family of 5 glad I brought our own. Paid 110 with hotel.com one key cash would have been 138. At most should have been 75 for the night. Did not have breakfast so cant speak for what wt consists.

I was traveling with my 8-year old twin boys. When we got to our room, the window was wide open with a broken screen - anyone could have crawled through the window and been there when we got in (my boys were terrified for awhile). For the cost of the hotel, they also charged an extra $5 per person to use the water slide. I didn’t think that was necessary. Overall I didn’t love the hotel. For 3 people, there was one towel in our room. I took some from The swimming area so that we could shower. The pillows are so small.

Attempts have been made to cosmetically update the property. The tub seemed a bit sketchy and the ceiling tiles above it were mildewy and sagging. The beds were a bit firm, but bedding all seemed clean. The door was def a challenge to open and looks like it was patched up. The room smelled like it used to be a smoking room and there were remnants of the smell. The toilet water continually started running every few minutes. The staff was friendly enough but not overly hospitable like customer service quality. The air conditioner didn’t work well so we couldn’t get the room very cool. That all being said the pool and hot tubs were very fun! You have to pay extra to use the water slide but my kiddos really enjoyed it!

We were told to pay Five each to use the slide and given wrist bands... nobody else using the slide paid nor did they have wrist bands. Front desk said they are not taught how to give refunds because management doesn't want took a refunds.

We were celebrating our daughter birthday, so we trusted that the hotel’s name was up to the standards but, the rooms are so dirty, the kids were walking bare feet and their feet were so dirty that we had to wash them again. The AC was leaking and the room was flooded. Breakfast room was also dirty and tables were grimy. When asked the attendant to clean them up he talked back in an unknown language and after asking his name he refused, I noticed a sketchy post in the reception, which had an interesting email written on it. I asked the manager if they were legit and he pretended to call the police and called me a “mother f***”. The pool had a “public health” closure sign. The bathtub had a nasty stain, and last but not least, the chair had toenails from another guest.
