Seedy Motel not hotel!!
It was horrible but I complained when I checked in and no one cared. The room was dated and filthy. It stank the furniture was dirty carpet was stained and had a stench. The shower was backing up and there was something splattered on the wall that looked like fecal matter. I will NEVER stay here again. It tainted what my expectations have always been for a Double tree. I have never had anything but a great experience in the past but this site was horrid. Guess I should’ve read the reviews. They were spot on. $300 down the drain for what I’d dub a seedy motel

Fantastic solution to an almost ruined trip
While on a trip our previous rental was not clean or in a nice area so we found this rental on the Klarna app as a last minute solution. It was easy to book on the Klarna app and when we arrived at the hotel a few minutes after booking, everything was in order and check in was swift and easy. The clerk was great and knowledgeable

When we tried to check in a little before 4:00, we were told the room was not ready and they would call us when it was. We waited in the lounge area for a while and walked back up to the check-in desk and people were lined up in three lines. We never received a phone call telling us our room was ready. Upon check-in, the girl took forever to get us our keys because many rooms still weren't ready, and it's well past time to check in. When we finally got our keys, which had room #905 written on the key packet, the keys wouldn't work, plus the room was not gulf-side as we had asked for when booking. I just happened to turn around and try one of the keys on room #906. It worked. We set up in room #906 and my wife went down to tell the girl about it so her records would be accurate. When she explained it, the girl responded in a very condescending way, "Do you need me to write 906 on it for you?" The girl, whom we failed to get her name, copped an immediate attitude with my wife. When we looked at the pictures of the rooms on the website, they showed a microwave oven present. Our room did not have one, nor did it have a refrigerator. During our stay, trash cans in hallways were overflowing and the night before we left, someone had dropped a cup of something that looked like custard on the floor, just outside of the elevator doors on the 9th floor. My wife reported it. This morning when we left, it was still there. Another guest that entered the elevator with us said he had reporte

Overall my stay was ok. I think 3 stars is generous. I don’t believe this property deserved a Very Good rating though. The bed made noise, my room was near the elevator and I could hear guests coming and going at all hours. It was a short trip and a last minute reservation, so I didn’t speak to management. I guess my biggest gripe was $15 for what I consider a continental breakfast where you make your own waffle.

Another great stay at the double tree. The beach being right across the road from the hotel. Convenient EV charging allowing me to get ready for the next leg of our trip afterwards. I’ll be back :)

The convenience to shopping, food, beach, parks, gaming and family activity and casinos was nice. But the rooms and bed linen need just a little more attention to them especially the walls. But the staff is excellent and being able to go down stairs for breakfast is a plus.

Overall great stay. Wish the room had more amenities like fridge and microwave. The room was pretty clean but the bathroom was not and carpet need a serious cleaning. Finally the king room gulf view had good views but it would be better if bed was on opposite wall to get better views waking up. STAFF WAS ALWAYS NICE.
