The staff was very nice. However, room is really tight and narrow. We couldn’t open our suitcases because there was no space. The closet was really small. Every thing is too tight.

Friendly staff, nice room - very clean - although the promise of a ‘balcony’ was misleading. You couldn’t actually sit outside as too small and view was an internal stairwell Breakfast was good - but a bit chaotic on the Sunday. Great location.

Clean, modern apartments behind a historic facade in the st michel university district in short walking distance of main street with all amenities you need and tram stops. Apartments have outlook onto lovely quiet planted courtyards. Staff were very helpful and the complex seemed to have all the amenities you would need should you want to use them. The area was very vibrant being close to the university with lots of small bars, places to eat and cool shops nearby. Close to historic clock tower which you could see from the apartments. It was very easy to get around Bordeaux from there being close to tram stops.

We didn't like the size of the room. We had booked a room and paid for three people -even though there were only two of us. The hotel has wonderfully large king-size beds that almost completely fill the room. You can get into bed only from one side or the bottom. We had a chair that converted to a single bed - however there wasn't room to open it. It's probably okay for a single or honey-mooners, but not for friends traveling together

Initially we were not given the type of room we had asked for. We were given a double bed instead of a King. The staff was good about moving us after one night. The hotel is a little off the beaten path, however, if you walk up (away from the river) Victor Hugo Blvd, you will find a very nice archway across the street which leads you to lovely shops and restaurants.

Shower was small and hard to close the door honestly. It was very functional and pretty clean. Location is so so. It’s near old city so very convenient. Street was good. But I wouldn’t spend too much time around that area. Amazing value though and would likely stay again if on a bit of a budget or need a kitchenette.
