Terrible check in experience, customer service is poor.. had to book an additional room but staff redirected me to book thru their website because they said the price was different in person. Prior to booking this hotel i called the number on the website to ensure i can upgrade to a bigger room to sleep 3 and the rep. Confirmed they had a room that fits 4 but in perosn they asked me to book a 2nd room for 1 person or lose my money for the first room book thru travelocity. The rep. Didnt finish helping me when she's moved on to anyone else that areived after me. She also mentioned that my sexond room would not have a view if i didnt upgrade to premium and it did have a window view just not to the city buildings.

Nice hotel, very sleek etc but the room was tiny. Bed pushed against the window (view of the city) so we had to climb over each other. No comments!!!). Vanity in the middle of the room. Little privacy even in the bathroom, not what I expected for $700 a night. Service when available was good and friendly

There was an unidentifiable spot on our bed sheets on arrival, but one quick call and the problem was instantly resolved. The room was overall comfortable if not a little bit of an odd set up. For a single night on a weekend getaway this place is perfect. I'm not sure i would enjoy a long term stay as much

One thing.
Great. Everything was great. One thing. The mattress cover bar does not go right to the edge of the wall. If you look down you can see all the hair of all of the guests that ever slipped down there. You don’t have to touch it. But it’s there. The bed is accessible from one side so I imagine it’s not often cleaned. Just a heads up for management.

There are a lot of positives here, but some quirks to be aware of. Arriving, you'll walk in the door on the first floor, then take an elevator up to 4 which is lobby level. Here you'll find the friendly staff, a bar and breakfast area (which also has a lunch/dinner menu), and a lot of sitting areas. This includes a number of conference rooms that I believe you have to reserve, but would be very nice for people on a business trip. Our room was nice, but may surprise some as it's one room, with sort of a partitioned area for toilet & shower, the sink is out in the room itself, and a giant bed wedged into the back wall against the window. So for one person, no problem at all. If you're two people, make sure you are very compatible, as maneuvering for space on the bed, and getting in and out of the bed, are more of an adventure than a typical hotel room with end tables on both sides and space to walk around. Not to mention the bathroom just being more or less in the middle of the room. For us, it was fine. Everything was well kept, and all the tech and connections and such was very good. A big selling point for us is the easy walk over to the North End. Others may be interested that it's next door to North Station. Overall highly recommended, but it is good I think to understand this is not what most people might think of as a "normal" hotel in a few interesting ways, so if that seems like a concern, a little research might be in order to make sure this is the place for you.

Quiet in the city. We slept like babies here. The rooms are simple and cozy. If you're planning on taking the train to Salem you are literally right next door to North Station. There is also The HUB next door which is a food hall that contains a lot of different food options. Just about a 30 minute walk to Newbury street that has a ton of restaurants and shopping.

It was a little odd at first as the lobby is on the fourth floor. The area around the hotel is safe with a grocery store right around the corner next to Starbucks and plenty of places to eat both at the ground level an area within the neighborhood if A pharmacies needed it there’s a CVS two blocks down as well.

loved this hotel. its right next door to the north train station snd TD basketball arena. Only 2 complaints - most rooms have a wall ro wall king bed with only one way onto the bed and you have to climb over your bed companion. After one night we requested s handiicap room that had 3 sides to get in bed. Also, the lighting im the bathroom was terrible. Otherwise great hotel.
