Gorgeous boutique hotel nestled in the French countryside with beautiful grounds. We crossed a small bridge over a charming brook from the car park to reach our room. Very clean, well appointed accommodations. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed at this property specifically because there was a restaurant that was supposed to be very good. We had been traveling for two weeks and didn’t want to drive anywhere. However, upon check in we were told the restaurant was closed for a private event and dining in was not possible. We had to drive to a small town nearby for dinner. The room was sufficient but there were a number of items which included no instructions, such as towel warmer, skylight window that was open and we had to search for the remote to close it. There were a few other annoyances. We just didn’t feel value for what we paid. If we had known we couldn’t have dinner there, we would have stayed somewhere else. Plus we had to leave at 7:30 to catch our flight at CDG and no breakfast was available. All other places we stayed had breakfast at 7:00 a.m.

So beautiful, I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Loved our cute room in one of the other buildings, over a bridge with a beautiful small river. The grounds are gorgeous. The bed was comfy, the breakfast was delightful. I think the gal at the desk was named Maev. Very helpful and sweet. They set the bar high for the rest of our trip. But made our first night in France memorable.

Exceptional !
Nothing was too much trouble for this excellent establishment. We had a very relaxing overnight stay in tranquil surroundings, with a superb meal in the evening, en route to our house in the Limousin. Exceptional service , particularly in these troubled times. We will definately return.

This was an amazing property. So lovely. A little river runs through the middle cutting the property in half. They have an indoor pool. Lots of little hidden places to explore with the kids. Rock driveway.

This was an impeccable hotel in a country setting with an unbelievably excellent restaurant. The grounds could not have been more beautiful and the room was simply perfect. I slept like a log and wish I could have stayed longer.

Lovely setting for a jewel of a hotel
Hotel is really well presented. Food imaginative and tasty. Young staff in restaurant are excellent. Receptionist lets down the hotel. Cool and formal when you want a helpful and welcoming approach. Breakfast not available before 9 pm on Sunday. So we had to go without. Ridiculous for a service industry!

Stunning stay in glorious surroundings
We had an amazing 2 night stay, with a whole day to visit Monets house and garden in Giverny which far exceeded our expectations. The hotel was quirky, and relaxing set in superb countryside. The chef was excellent- I recommend his langoystinr dish which I believe should be his signature dish.

Quiet and quirky, with great chef.
We spent 4 nights here, chosen at random as close to Giverney. A small, family run place with an aspiring chef. We tried out the 6 course evening menu, which was excellent, even better when we found out at check out that it was part of a free night deal (Tuesday/Wednesday nights). Pool was small, but great to chill as was empty! Room was in a separate building, a short stroll from the main building, more expensive rooms are in the main Chateau. Spacious and modern with good size bathroom.

Peaceful location
The main house and grounds are very beautiful, and the peacock and peahen walking around were quite the surprise. The room we stayed in was in a renovated stable- not what we were expecting, but it was comfortable and quiet. Minor complaints: the shower did not drain very well at all, there was no ventilation/fan. Major complain: the wifi/internet connection was extremely slow. (We were informed by hotel staff that this is a problem for the entire town and not something fixable by the hotel.)

Charming Northern France Hotel near Giverny
This is a gem of a hotel. The setting is pastoral and beautiful. The grounds are immaculate and peaceful. The room was exceedingly comfortable (although, of course, somewhat small by American standards but large by European), charming, with an excellent en suite bathroom. The hotel restaurant was superb and, although expensive, well worth it -- both the food and the attentive service. I would stay here again, and would highly recommend it to any friend.
