"Clean place"

"We lived in the area when the hotel was brand new. Now, 50y later, it is still cosy and comfortable. The owners are tastefully & thoughtfully remodeling the rooms. Our room was very nicely modernized. Staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the reasonable cost, especially since we had been in large "chain" hotels in SoCal for an extended period of time."

"Hotel is nice and new. Strong bleach odor when we entered (so you know something is clean) but sticky stuff on the floor and fingerprints on the door. Can hear when people walk by but we were right across from the elevator. Will stay again but just ask for a room farther away. "

"Clean comfortable room and property, but the floors need to be mopped. Feet got dirty walking around barefoot... Front desk woman was so kind and helpful over the phone (Friday 5/9 afternoon) about our late check-in. Thank you!"
