Room was fine, only stayed one night. Floor was all tile so it was cold, bed and sheets were very uncomfortable. We also found random eyelashes in the sheets that were not ours. Owner/manager seemed nice.

Great location on the beach - beautiful sunsets & sunrises. Place is very clean with a genuine caring staff. We are walkers - and we’re able to walk to the historic center - the fabulous restaurants & clubs & the local bakery for early coffee. A wonderful place for a quick getaway & to have some fun! Just love how clean it is & how close everything is‼️👍

Great property in every way. Location, parking, rooms, views. Room was spotless, shower with lovely tile work. We had refrigerator in our room and there is a laundry room with microwave for you to use. If you have any questions, call Alex and he will happily help you! Also, a perk is the continental breakfast from 8 to 10 am. Just wow. Lots of coffee and delicious fresh pastry in addition to cold cereal.

Great hotel on the beach and close to everything.
Avondale is wonderful hotel right on the beach and in the middle of historic Cape May. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and can't do enough for you. They provided an excellent free continental breakfast with something for everyone.

I’m so glad that we seem to have moved past covid restrictions with regard to the frequency of tidying up the room and replenishing towels and toilet paper. It was a very attractive property and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cape May.
