Truly, if you’re going to Cartagena, I HIGHLY recommend townhouse boutique hotel. There’s literally nowhere else I would consider staying. Unfortunately, due to weather we weren’t able to experience their sister hotel which also has raving reviews on here but hopefully I will be able to the next trip around. The staff here is literally incomparable to any other place I’ve stayed and I’m not just saying that to say it. So sad to leave, but excited to return to Cartagena and Townhouse for sure!!! The staff do an excellent job of making you feel like you belong. I specifically want to shoutout Jorman— he was an absolutely amazing concierge. No matter how many questions we asked or help that was needed, Jorman was there within seconds to help us even when we thought he may be annoyed lol He always had a bright smile on his face which made us feel super comfortable. Aldo was also another staff member that made us feel super special. He recommended the best food to eat at the restaurant and connected with us, again making us feel like we belonged in Cartagena. Jessica was literally the best server I’ve had in a restaurant setting ever in life. From her sweet smile to her ability to know what we needed for breakfast or lunch, she was literally AMAZING!

My stay was SO AMAZING I didn’t want to come back home. The complimentary breakfast was AWESOME, fresh and delicious. The staff was extra caring, the rooftop was amazing, the location was excellent. I cannot have enough adjectives to describe how great of a time I had there.. they also have a sister hotel with private beach in an island 20 minutes away which is to die for.. if I could give 100 stars, I would!!! Love love LOVED IT!! ❤️❤️❤️

This was our third time at the Townhouse, and needless to say we love staying here. We were a group of 8 celebrating a friend’s birthday and we all had a great time. The staff is like a family and service is top notch. The rooftop is great fun. We also took advantage of a boat trip to the Rosarios arranged by the hotel, and it was a great experience!

Very impressed with the experience! Great breakfast on the rooftop. Fantastic view and ambiance. Dinner menu was not extensive but everything tasted delicious, we enjoyed the regional specialties that gave a taste of Cartagena's culinary heritage. Staff was exceptional. From check-in to check-out, they were pro-active, friendly, professional, and eager to assist. Easy communication via Whatsapp. Location is ideal for exploring Cartagena. It’s conveniently situated near all major attractions, shopping, and dining options. The only negative point: noise level and poor soundproofing. Not ideal if youre a light sleeper. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Great and speedy service. The waitress at the rooftop bar was very nice and the WhatsApp room service was very convenient. It was one of the more high tech hotels in Cartagena walled city

We arrived at 11 pm, and the receptionist insisted that I check in online by uploading my credit card and passport. I was uncomfortable uploading these documents to the hotel website, but I was told it was the only option if I wanted to stay at the hotel. Since I had paid in advance, I would lose my money if I didn't comply. The receptionist was rude and offered no other options. I submitted a review through Expedia after checking in but did not receive any response. We returned to Cartagena a few days later after our trip to Barranquilla and stayed at Hotel Marques. The experience was a big difference, much more pleasant.

This is a very lovely hotel in heart of the tourist area. Very nice, friendy staff. Clean rooms with charming paintings on the walls and doors. A restored old colonial building. A/c worked well (a must in a very hot, humid climate) and muffled any outside noise. I will go bak and stay there again.

I loved the Townhouse Boutique Hotel. My husband and I stayed in the third floor suite, two bed, two bath, and balconies for 7 days. Everything was modern and comfortable; and the rain-head warm showers were the best. The staff is kind, and very helpful and the rooftop bar was a real plus, good music, nice breeze and outstanding cocktails. The townhouse was convenient to all the nicer restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend!!
