"Amazing stay in the center of Palermo. We had a corner room with a view of the theatre, which was quite special. Enjoyed the restaurant one night and the hospitality of the staff and family owners the entire weekend. Breakfast at the cafe was adequate, service has something to be desired. Great location. Be sure to read the booklet on the art and history of the building and be sure to inquire about the connection to the film, The Godfather. "

The hotel's rich history as a former castle has been beautifully preserved, and its stunning architecture and decor only added to our enchantment. Special mention must be made of Marina, who introduced us to some of the most authentic and wonderful local Sicilian gems, hidden away from the usual tourist trails. Her insider knowledge and passion for the region were invaluable, and we felt like we experienced the real Sicily thanks to her recommendations and professionalism. Bruno, too, was a huge help, assisting us in finding our way around the city and providing us with expert advice. His kindness and expertise made a significant difference to our stay, and we're so grateful to have had him as a resource. The cleanliness of the room was beyond our expectations, and the breakfast in the morning was complete and nutritional. What struck us most, however, was the hotel's reputation among the locals. Every time we mentioned the hotel's name to anyone in Palermo, their response was and full of fond memories. One business owner in a boutique I shopped at told me she got married 30 years ago in the hotel. Amazing place"

"The property was excellent, newly renovated and very clean. It was very well located, walk distance to the city centre and means of transports. The only thing that there were a lot of steps to get to the apartment, there wasn't any lift. It was hard after a long day of walk. Any way, we were very happy to spend our holidays in such a nice property :-)"
