"Great, friendly staff who know how to properly treat their guests. Beautiful views from the restaurant, pool area and our room of Mount Etna. The full breakfast buffet was incredible. In the evenings/night it was absolutely quiet outside. We took the Interbus to/from Taormina bus station, for 1.90 euros. It stops right in front of Villa Sonia Hotel ! Castelmola is an interesting community with many shops and restaurants. We took the walking trail down to Taormina"

"Good location. Parking was sorted by the hotel which was a great addition in the area. "

"The Hotel is clean and straddles classic with new design well. The Chef made a special fish dinner for us the first night that was terrific. View from rooftop amazing. Our room and the adjacent patio amazing. Recommendations from front desk for meals spot on. If there was a small downside, it was the three flight walk to the room as we were in annex. View of Mt Etna and Bay made up for that bit of exercise. "

"Thanks again. The staff are brilliant as always. I believe Santo has taught his apprentice a little too well at making cocktails. Very comfortable rooms. The biting bugs seem to come from the sofas rather than the beds and using local soap etc appears to help. Maybe keep Claudio on a leash 🙄藍. Davide and Veronica and Sandra and Vanessa and Giuseppe and Carmelo are all great too. See you all soon ❤️ oh just a warning water in pool and sea a little cold. Don't be ripped off with Go See buses. Just up the road the interbus is cheaper and more frequent."

"Staff was friendly - upgraded to corner balcony room upon arrival without even asking - excellent service- and could literally see Aetna from the outer deck and from the bed out the window. Parking was not a concern as there is parking out front and valet, both for a fee. Location provides view also from lovely rooftop bar and restaurant and is located next to a popular and famous local pizzeria/ restaurant. Easy walk to main area via « secret «  garden walkway."
