Maison St. Charles is an excellent choice in hotels, but their charges for parking are exorbitant. Their staff is courteous and caring and security staff were always around, visible and observant.

The room was nothing like the images and the staff weren't very nice during my check in. The only hilight i found to be was the pool and the amount of towels provided during the stay.

This is not the place it was when it was part of the choice hotels group. I hadn't been here in years. Dirty, run down rooms. The AC never got really cold. The rate wasnt an amazing deal, it was bc you gotta give these rooms away to get people in here. The front desk staff was friendly and the pool area were the only ok things here. Its nasty in there. I left and slept at a friends. Dont stay here. Its sad to see this place like this. I had great memories here but that was at least 7-8 years ago.

Front desk agent horrible. Doesn’t understand how to check guest in. He tries to multi task but forget what he doing. Took me over 30 min to get checked in and being skipped. Floors in room were dirty

For what I spent at this hotel it was not worth it. It was unfortunate because the staff were so polite and nice, but this was basically a motel with hotel pricing. I’ll start with the positives: - the staff were super nice & polite. Lovely to talk to (give them a raise) - the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable -the ac unit worked great Negatives: -hotel room had lamps that literally were rusting -the doors were dirty -the shower only had hot water- I had to take scalding hot showers the entire weekend - the shower pan was not tall enough and so water splashed all over the floor we had to put towels on the bathroom floor - at one point the power went out (not hotel fault) but then the outlet for one of the lights stopped working - the towels were tiny and super rough- like sandpaper Overall, this place would’ve been fine if I paid maybe $90 a night but I paid over $500 with fees for three nights. It was super budget, the furniture in the lobby were stained like someone sweaty or wet sat on them. Unfortunate because again the staff were super sweet, polite, and attentive. It was right by a trolley stop and centrally located. If I honestly paid less I wouldn’t have a single complaint. Safe to safe I’d never stay here again. Sorry.

Wonderful stay! Hope to go back again!
I really enjoyed my stay! It was close enough to the Conference Center that I could walk there every day, right on the streetcar line, and an easy walk to Bourbon Street. It was also charming in its own way. I would definitely stay there again!!
