If you are expecting a five star airport hotel, this is not for you. This property is a solid 3-stars all day long. I do not know why they advertise a 5-star rating? - for such misleading marketing I have marked them down on this review as customer satisfaction is generally based upon expectation vs. delivery.
The airport location is fantastic, however that’s where great expectations should end. It’s quite a worn and tired property. The bed linens/pillows are not five star, the bathroom & towels are not five star, there are no five star amenities - no razor / vanity kit / mouthwash etc are provided … although two small Tetrapak bottles of water are given for free.
The bathroom is below par and the shared tub/shower combination with very short screen door means water gets everywhere. You would never want to enjoy a bath here. There’s only two very thin bath towels provided (not five star); The iron (with calc) and ironing board are very old and you need to use caution on expensive garments (not five star).
Please can someone adjust the rating for this property as it’s very, very far from five stars? I really don’t understand how this hotel has won any awards whatsoever - except for proximity to HKIA, in which case it is 5-star.
There are many, many better options at HKIA if you don’t mind a free shuttle bus or $24 HKD ($4 USD) / 5 min taxi ride.
