Relaxation channel upon entering the room set the right mood for a focused, calm stay. Right off the 294, but in a quiet cul de sac. Convenient, kind staff. And affordable. Would definitely stay here again.

Trip ruined by smokers
Went on a 3 night getaway with my girlfriend, we stayed in the deluxe suite. Room was beautiful and our experience was great until we stepped outside into the hallway. 2 out of the 3 nights the hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes and weed. 3 days in a row whenever we would go to the car there would be someone sitting 2 feet away from the south side door smoking. There was no escape from the cigarette smoke. Judging by the pile of cigarette butts right next to the door, it seems no one has been enforcing the smoking rules for a while. Needless to say, overall we were disappointed.

If you looking for a clean hotel near the naval station this is perfect. Breakfast free Wi-Fi and a gym I was hear for a graduation and it was great

The property is located in a bit of a corporate wasteland off the tollway, which was fine for me because I was there to self-isolate and write for a while. Across the street is Trinity International University which had a sense of post-apocalyptic abandonment to it. Not sure if the campus was on break or if it’s always this empty. The weed-choked volleyball courts would suggest the latter. Around half of the nearby business buildings were completely empty as well. Breakfast was better than I’d been led to expect with eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit and pastries available. You need to travel at least a mile to get to any actual dining or retail, but I’d brought a week’s worth of sandwich stuff for my stay so that was ok. My only real complaint about the property would be that the lighting in the room was a bit dim, but otherwise I could see returning here for another writing retreat.
