"We would highly recommend this property! Very cozy and homely. The welcome pack of essentials was very much appreciated. There were six of us and two dogs and there was plenty of room for all of us. All bedrooms are a good size. Easy to get to the beaches and surrounding areas. The cottage is located in very picturesque, peaceful surroundings. We instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our time there immensely. We will hopefully be back and will take our golf clubs next time!"

"We’ve just returned from 3 nights at East Lodge. What can I say other than wow! It’s a great little house, quirky and unique, in a really beautiful and remote setting. There’s no light or noise pollution, just peace and quiet, plus the fantastic backdrop of Chillingham Castle at the end of the garden. East Lodge is well equipped, the guidebook is detailed and helpful and Max was a great host. We loved the log burner and the house has everything else you could possibly need for a short stay. The location is perfect for exploring both the coast and countryside of beautiful Northumberland. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend. "
