The heating system has a problem during our stay. The front desk sent an engineering to fix the heating system in our room. He said it needed repair and he was going to ask the front desk to reassign another room. The front desk gave one to him right away but he held onto it. In that meantime, he tried to fix the boiler and did not give the new room to us. We asked the front twice after that and we got the same answer. Finally, we insisted the front desk to assign us another room because we had been waiting for the engineer person for almost two hours. I felt very frustrated by what the engineer person did.

Parking is pricey, but it's downtown. Our room didn't have any soap in it, but things happen. Worst part of the stay was the restaurant. You pay a premium for mediocre food and slow service. That said, there is plenty of high quality food options in walking distance. Overall, it was the staff that made the the visit. Everyone was super positive and polite. The staff interactions made up for the other shortfalls. . . The creative placement of mirrors in the room was a fun bonus.

Check-in wasn’t as smooth, the lady working the desk seemed bothered we were slightly early but when we returned the 2nd worker was warm and welcome. On check out day we were getting ready for a long travel day, to find out there was no water from 10-2 so we were unable to shower before we left. Disappointing from the hotel perspective specific to service, on-site restaurant was however lovely.

Overall stay was good. The elevators did confuse me a little- but the hotel is very large. It’s very nice and I would stay again. The price I paid was well worth it.
