"I rarely give an Excellent in my reviews, but The Palms truly made our stay great. We booked one of their smaller rooms and requested to twin beds. Somehow this did not get communicated to them by Expedia, and they no longer had that category of room available except with one double bed which would have been difficult for my daughter and I to comfortably share. So they offered to upgrade us, if we were willing to switch rooms after the first night which was fine. And while the first night was in a very comfortable family sized suite, the next night they put us in their best room, on the second story with a huge balcony. It was actually the last night of our vacation and my birthday too! So it put a wonderful end to our trip. Of course I should also add how much we enjoyed the live music in the bar on Thursday night, the amazing Mojitos and other drinks, and wonderful breakfast. We will definitely be back!"

"While Playa del Coco is not our favourite beach, the Toro Blanco is a very pleasant and friendly little resort-style hotel with a great outdoor setting and pool."

"we only stayed a couple nights out there but it was great. The property manager was very nice and she helped us with getting there and also with transportation and activity to do around. The new year eve on the beach was a nice experience! Lastly, the neighborhood was very calm and people were very nice with us. "
