Our stay was fine. It’s a trendy appearing hotel, but nothing that’s actually really special. We had a room with a queen and bunk bed- there’s no handle on the right side, so you have to climb up with only one hand, which was a bit thrilling.
I think it’s over priced for what it is. We will stay elsewhere next time.
The property is very nice however not in the best neighborhood therefore they lock up at 10pm but there is keyless (code) entry if you choose to go in and out after hours. The inside is beautiful with a full bar and restaurant. The staff is friendly, very welcoming and just good people. The Bed and pillows were the most comfortable I ever slept on and I’ve been in many hotels while traveling. Kinship Landing will be where I will always stay whenever I visit Colorado Springs Co
A surprise birthday trip for my husband…we enjoyed everything about our stay.
Eco-friendly! Minimalist vibe!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious!
First: the guy who checked me in at the hotel was super cute! My room was small, as advertised and sufficient for my needs. I felt like I was in a Scandinavian dorm room. The neighborhood was nice, and there were a few dining options available on new year's day. I did NOT like having to pay to park in an open, unsecured lot. Though 16$ was not a lot of money, it was simply a budget line item for the hotel because it came with no service, security, luggage carts- just parking yourself and paying for it. Given the rest of the facility, this should be a free parking. Overall, it was a comfortable, first-stop on a multiple city journey and again, the guy at the front desk was super hot.
Front desk person was on the phone selling a potential customer a room for 15 minutes while I stood there waiting to check in. I get it if she’s the only one working but why not AT LEAST, say hey hold on a second please. Or anything… after driving 13 hours I needed to use the restroom and I was about to bleed all over the lobby because it took so long to check in when there was absolutely no one else there. The vibes were cute. Definitely need to do better at keeping vagrants out of the lobby and loitering outside. One was yelling he was kill us right when we walked out to grab some dinner… then when we got back after the same guy WAS CHILLIN INNTHE LOBBY ?!?! I was so freaked out I couldn’t sleep all night. The best part was the in-house coffee bar and knowledgeable barista! My morning matcha was so good I had him make me second (after that drive and not sleeping all night I really needed it) this place has great potential but needs to work on training the in-take staff and keeping guest safe. Rooms are cute and great prices. Just something to think about
