Great Vacation Home
Great location and the home was perfect. Daufuskie is a gem and we enjoyed our stay. Would have been 5 stars but our golf cart could not hold a charge for a long enough period of time to fully explore the island. Luckily, we were able to borrow another cart that stayed charged all day. We will be back.

Loved the house, location but was not provided a check in code prior to arrival and after a very long day and at least 6-8 attempts to correspond to host and 35 minutes of waiting outside we finally reached someone to get in. Once inside we were not disappointed. My only suggestion for home is a much needed safety bar for the bath tub.

Perfect Beach House!
This charming house on the beach is as advertised. Clean and smartly appointed, it has everything you need for a relaxing, fun-filed stay—from a fully-equipped kitchen to beach chairs and umbrellas and games for the kids. The hosts were exceptionally communicative and thoughtful. When they saw we had a four-year-old they even brought over a bike with training wheels! We loved our stay.

Great location
We had a great time exploring Daufuskie! It’s a beautiful island and this property was just as advertised. Location was so close to the beach that it was less than a five minute walk or better yet, you could drive the golf cart ( included with your stay) right up to the beach. So nice that everything you needed for the beach was included as well as bikes and paddle boards! We highly recommend as the owners and property managers are super to work with too!

Booked a last minute vacation here. The home was immaculate and well prepared for our arrival. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. Property manager met us at the property to go over everything we needed to know about our stay and was available throughout when we had questions. The golf cart was an excellent addition, we had so much fun just exploring the island each day when we weren't on the beach enjoying the calm water Daufuskie had to offer. Highly recommend Daufuskie Island and JonBie Maisons for those seeking a peaceful vacation away from the crowds and noise.

Charming cottage on a laid back island
We truly enjoyed our stay on Daufuskie island, and loved having a pet friendly property. Beach chairs and beach blanket were included but to stay, and when we requested an umbrella the property managers delivered one the same day. The beaches were uncrowded and the golf cart was a great way to see the island. It was also a really nice cart! The bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, and pans. Be sure yku bring sugar, salt, pepper and any condiments if you plan to cook. Would also recommend additional detergent pods; the house came with two but one was for beach towels and the capacity of washer and dryer was quite small. Highly recommend this property and management company. Highly responsive to any questions or needs, and a well-maintained house. We will be back!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property because we enjoyed it so much the first time. The house is in a great location and very clean. We enjoyed the short cart ride ( that came with the house ) to the beach. The house had everything you could need and was nice to come back to and relax after exploring the Island .

Our house got switched at 11th hour, golf cart was new and 4 seater, getting luggage to and from Haig was a bit weird and not well advertised, once we got to house everything was enjoyable, accommodations were good! Hope Melrose and Bloody Pt come back to original grandeur.

Perfect relaxing getaway
Perfect relaxing getaway! Everything about our four night day was perfect. The booking process was seamless and the owner responded quickly to all of our questions. We were met by the owner and he was so informative when we checked in about the cottage and the island. The cottage was a quick walk to the beach and we loved having a golf cart included. We will definitely be back!

Overall a good stay
House is super cute. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Ac stopped working but they came right out to fix it. Golf cart didn’t hold a charge at all. We did misplace the golf cart key and reached out but got no response so that was kinda disappointing

Nice property, unit , very comfortable inside. nicely stocked. My only suggestion is new beach chairs needed. the ones there were upright, like to sit at a table and did not recline like most do. Fortunately someone abandoned one at the beach after a few days so i could borrow it .

Everything you need
The house was very nice and had everything you could possibly need right down to your fur baby, It had ocean view and you could hear the waves crashing at night while rocking on the front porch. Great location.

Daufuskie Island was a disappointment
One restaurant and two tiny general stores open. Many activities closed until after Memorial Day. Don’t believe Daufuskie website - go to Tybee. Our Cottage beautifully decorated and comfortable. The neighborhood looked like it was recovering from hurricane - many dilapidated boarded up cottages.

What a great vacation
The house was better than expected. It is very tastefully and thoughtfully appointed and in great condition. From the initial communication with the manager to the cleanliness of the house, we were delighted by our stay. A few of the high points include: The convenience of the beach, the use of the golf cart and bikes, the safe and secure feeling that our family had while exploring the island, the great communication by the management to provide all of the answers to questions regarding how to get to and what to do while on the island. We look forward to another visit soon.
