The Ranch was great! We stayed in the cottages, which are recently redone and much nicer. has lots of casual options- ice cream parlor, a buffet, a coffee shop, gift store, bar style lunch restaurant, and the Saloon (proper restaurant), and a quick walk to the visitor center which was great for the Stargazing experience (must do!), and we did go to the Inn one night for dinner too. Loved the Ranch, however like some other reviews said, we did have a few bugs in our room, which i guess can't be avoided in the climate and thankfully they left us alone haha ;) would stay again!

Beautiful grounds, good location inside the N.P.
The grounds and the buildings are very nice, well kept, and the tavern restaurant has a lot of character. The front desk personnel are very polite and helpful. It’s very convenient being inside the NP. The spring fed pool is very big, with lots of seating around it and plenty of towels. Although it’s advertised as being warm, the temperature of the water is only lukewarm. We had one of the cheaper rooms, and though it was clean, the plumbing fixtures are old, and there was mildew in the tub/shower. The restaurant has a limited menu, as to be expected in the middle of nowhere.

Pros: Its walkable to the restaurant Cons: - long line to check in, -needs reservation at the restaurant (atleast 2 hrs they say) but i got a text after 1hr. - Some restaurant closes at 8 and 9 so if you get there so late youre screwed. (your probably last chance is the buffet which is almost $30 per person-

The Ranch is only one of two options at the Furnace Creek in Death Valley. The Ranch had very few options for food, especially if you are vegan. Also, the bathroom had a bad odor of stale shower curtain. As soon as you open the bathroom, the stench is pretty overwhelming.

This is the best place to stay while visiting Death Valley National park. The whole Complex has all the amenities. The general store is excellent, restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, costly though. Overall excellent place.
