This resort is pretty awesome although it had limited use in the middle of the very hot summer: restaurants were limited and use of the resort's outdoor amenities was not possible. The rooms were not sparkling but were passable. The General Store was excellent and the entire staff was very amiable and helpful.

The hotel is definitely an oasis in the middle of the desert. Rooms are a bit old and tired but comfortable. Recommend a room facing the pool area. Saloon was closed when we were there which was disappointing but we had a beautiful dinner at their other property, The Inn, up the road. We stopped here on our way from Mammoth Lakes to Las Vegas which was perfect.

Well, you are in Death Valley. My only downside was at dinner we were not given the option on “the buffet” or order of menu; just here is the buffet.

Loved staying here with my family! My family enjoyed the pool after a hot morning/early afternoon exploring the area. Very clean and great view of the area. Dinner options were great and the Ice Cream Parlor was fantastic…The manager was very hospitable to my family and chatted with us for several minutes about the area. We would stay here again!

I love this hotel, stayed in a cabin and they are lovely, seperate bedroom, washer dryer combo living area, nice porch, comfy bed. The prporty is beautiful and the amenities are wonderful, the pool is a wonderful temperature. Staff were very friendly. Even though it was hot as hades the misters everywhere help keep you comfortable. Highly recommended you splurge on a stay here.

Nice property in the middle of nowhere. Clean rooms. Some food options although pricey. Staff more on the serious side with few exceptions. Overall a good place to spend a few days.

Quite enjoyable
The lock to the patio was broken, the place could use better maintenance. I personally don’t like rugs. Other than that the place has great amenities, wonderful restaurants, great store, museum and delicious pool. I loved all the grassy area. Well maintained

The building doors were open to anyone; it would be safer to have to use the room key to enter one’s building as well as one’s room. Room was clean and comfortable. We were not given enough bath towels for our group, so we had to share.
