"We stayed at the Burnaby Holiday Inn Express and were impressed with our quiet and functional room. The proximity to the Sky Train was a real plus for us. The free self-serve breakfast was generous and the service attentive. We used the outdoor pool daily even with daily January temps of 0-3C! Nice! The hotel is within a larger building complex and, unfortunately during our 9-day stay, we experienced two false fire alarms that were activated not in the hotel but nonetheless forced us to vacate our room. The front desk and housekeeping staff were warm and friendly. In particular, managers Scott and Brandon were prompt and thorough in following up on our concerns regarding the false fire alarms. The hotel is a good option for visitors to Burnaby. "

"Front desk staff and concierge were friendly and very helpful.Check-in was quick. The room was lovely with an amazing view. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food and service were fabulous. Right across from Metrotown mall. "

"We had a wonderful time here. Miss Anna was accommodating and communicative before, during, and after our stay. Such a clean, beautiful house, nice bed, and fairly close to a gas station convenience store. It’s not too far from the Metrotown mall either! Would definitely come back! Oh, and don’t forget to take off your footwear at the door to keep the house clean if you’re coming by to stay. Keeps the floors clean! ;)"
