Very surprised by some commence, for the price you payed plus breakfast would recommend. Was not sure how to use overhead shower but being pickie. Kettle lead where we was very TIGHT to plug in. Anyway value for money BREAKIE gr8

Fab hotel
Lovely hotel. We have stayed in three different rooms and all have been fantastic. Very spacious and the beds are extremely comfortable! So much better than other hotels for comfort. Would definitely recommend and this hotel has a very modern feel.

Wonderful place! Wed booked the Hilton Double Tree but were disgusted by the service so last minute booked here and were so glad we did, the room was clean and spacious, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the pool was lovely and the onsite Starbucks was an extra bonus plus it was half the price of the Double Tree! We will be back x

Staff friendly on arrival - check in was fine and simple bar being a bit overly automated which just meant staff had to help with self service. Lift was shaking like crazy so in dire need of upgrade or fixing. Room was ok size but in terrible disrepair. Lights flashing on and off. Seals round bath all mouldy and coming off. Light switches and plugs hanging off. A lot of exposed metal on sofa bed for mechanism making it a bit dangerous for you children who roll around. Overall it needs a massive refurb asap and stop selling the room in between as it’s ripping people off at the price we paid. Wouldn’t return as not good value for the money

Not great, very tired, felt unclean
The room was tired and run down. Room didn’t feel clean. Visible dirt in the bathroom with a bleach stain all over the side behind the toilet. Toilet seat old and worn away. Marks on the blind in the room. Socket in wall didn’t work if you turned the main light off. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fabulous stay again. Clean, warm and comfortable. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Very convenient having Starbucks on site. Will definitely be back.

The room was amazing had everything we needed, it was very spacious clean comfortable. We booked for evening dining it was very busy so make sure you do that in an evening just incase. check in ran smoothly we had early check in and late check out which we paid extra for we also paid for breakfast at the time of check in and was told our 7 year old was free we settled the whole bill at the time. Then on check out we were then told there was an outstanding amount for breakfast which caused some confusion and embarrassment to us infront of other guests as they had over charged with no apology by which time they had already charged my card but all got resolved. That said this is a lovely hotel to stay in.

Refurbished rooms are so basic it’s no longer comfortable. No easy chair, clock or even a picture on the walls. The window had a solid blind. Either pitch black or open to all. A walking path is right in front of it. The shower is so dangerous Why would you put slippy glass wall times and nothing to hold onto. I had a choice of single beds and warm water ( as I’m disabled) that was the best you could offer us. Why control my sleeping situation and water temperature. I’m disabled not a fool No one even knew what a wet room was and assisted means being treated like a fool or child. No one could offer a solution for me to wash. Just terrible. Why would you not have assistance in bathrooms. I was offered the shower in the gym. Can you imagine that. Amputated ankle and fused spine so use the gym shower redress and return to your room really. Also workmen parking in disabled spaces leaving nothing for blue badge holders. No one even tried to recall them and move them on Your empathy is missing. But so are your less able guests now.

Handy location for visiting Chester. Hotel was experiencing a busy Saturday night, staff were great even though Automated check-in was malfunctioning. Room was tired, basic and pleasantly not affected by the function below. Would stay again. Thank You
