We were on the first 3 days of our honeymoon and every moment was memorable. The views - the twinkling lights at dusk, the lovely breakfasts ... I could go on and on. We received lovely handwritten notes of congratulations on beautiful stationery, and a bottle of champagne beautifully presented in an ice bucket. Turndown service each evening was thorough and meticulous. These are wonderful "throw-back" touches from another era, yet everything felt authrntic and genuine! "The Spa was incredible. We used the ocean view sauna every day and loved it! Room was clean and tidy, we had a nice view from our balcony. Walkable to many restaurants in the area. It was a relaxing and quiet location compared to the more lively Funchal. "
