"This is an genuinely old building that was relocated nearly 100 years ago to its current location in Bridgeport. The old Victorian wood creaks a bit and you won't find as many outlets in each room as a modern hotel. This authentic piece of history is exactly what we were hoping to find and we're so glad that we stayed here. The feel of this hotel is warm and welcoming, made even more so by "Steve," who greeted us kindly, walked us to our room, chatted with us about the history of the hotel and even offered to help carry my bags. Conveniently located in the middle of this two block town and close to Bodie Historic State Park. We enjoyed our experience here very much."
