Good Choice!
Really nice hotel well located close by everything. Very friendly staff nice clean room and a wonderful breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Place is pretty basic in all respects. For $250/night it should be more, but I think that’s what you get in Iceland these days where everything is sky high.

We absolutely loved our stay at Skuggi Hotel. Complementary breakfast was wonderful. Easy available parking for our rental car in the garage was so great especially in the winter since we did not have to clean off the car from any snow and we got into a warm vehicle every morning! Rooms are a little dark, but we would stay here again in a minute! Walkable to everything!

The room was clean. I wish I had a small refrigerator but it was not a big issue. The location was convenient as it was within walking distance of the main area of the city and close to bus stops. The breakfast included in the booking was also good quality and very helpful to start the day before a long tour each day. I'm willing to use this hotel again if I get to revisit Iceland in the future!
