Excellent location to get around Dubai by metro, taxi and complimentary shuttle to beach and mall. Staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Superb suite and club lounge. Excellent breakfast options to suit all tastes.

All in all, a nice experience staying at the Shangri-La. Staff were super helpful; the breakfast varied and catering for all tastes. The property itself is well located near to the DIFC, Burj and the Dubai Mall and a short walk from various eating options - ample taxi/Uber's were also on hand to get you around. We originally stayed on the 41st floor as part of the Shangri-La Horizon Club, however were subsequently moved down to the 33rd floor after two sleepless nights. What was not made clear, nor seemingly mentioned, is the presence of nightclub on the 43rd floor which finishes c4am each night. For those who are heavy sleepers or who are night-owls, this will not be a problem. However, if you are a light sleeper I suggest asking for a room on a lower level. The staff, to their credit, were more than accommodating, and once we had moved there were no other issues. As mentioned, apart from the forementioned the hotel had most things one would require for a comfortable stay. I would certainly consider returning to the hotel for our next visit (staying on the lower levels).

We enjoyed our short stay at Shangri La. We upgraded our room to also enjoy the 41st floor lounge. The room was fantastic- large and comfortable and with a beautiful view. The service at the lounge was fantastic and we enjoyed the facilities. The view from the pool is great and the location is close to everything (although prone to traffic). Cons: the breakfast setting was very crowded and less pleasant (the food was good). The service at the pool bar was mediocre. The hotel is recommended overall.

This is a deluxe hotel and everything was on point. Service was very good, the room was large, comfortable including the beds and pillows. We dine at two of their restaurants and it was amazing! And the best part, the pool and the view of the Burj Khalifa, especially at night is amazing!!

Everyone working at the hotel makes you feel like family. They brought cake, balloons, card and took a photo on my wife’s birthday. The house keeper brought fruit and flowers to us. Housekeeping would clean our room in the morning and with the jet lag we would take a nap in the afternoon and housekeeping would have the bed made again by time we came back to the room. The valet are quick with getting and parking your vehicle. The door man are friendly and make your day with small talk and jokes while you are waiting for your vehicle or taxi. 100 out of 100 experience with staff. We stayed on the 35th floor sea side. The views are amazing!!!
