The hotel is a 3 minute ride to the airport and runs a shuttle every 20 minutes. The shuttle was prompt, clean and the driver was very nice. The property is clean and feels very secure. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast buffet was very good.

I booked the hotel as it was stated to be located in the terminal, but in reality it was a shuttle bus ride away. I would have hoped the description of the property matched the actual location.

It's great that the property is very close to the airport, staff is very nice and helpful, room and bathroom clean, the only problem is the shower, it doesn't have a door or curtain, it has a glass that covers half of it, so you have a lot of water that spills outside on the bathroom floor which makes it dangerous to step out on wet floors.

Maldron is one of 2 within walking distance of the airport. I find it friendly, food is good…there’s a garage over the road for snacks

This property needs to be updated. The hallways and rooms are very run down. The layout of the buildings is confusing and elevator access is difficult because it is hard to locate.

The only two issues I had were cleaners left window to my room opened so there was a large spider and three big flying bugs in it plus for safety reasons and being on street level they should have it locked. Other was it took me forever to order at the bar and once I got my order it had way too many onions and peppers in it. But to be that close to airport with a shuttle it was nice. The breakfast was nice and the staff at breakfast were very friendly and helpful.

Location excellent for early flights or late arrival. Rooms small but clean and quiet, fine for us. Staff made the trip for us, Robert, Jen, and GM Denise were especially helpful with luggage storage, directions to town center, and printing Ryanair (they don't accept mobile tickets?) tickets. Highly recommend Dublin Maldron Hotel.

Bathroom had significant mold on ceiling and grout, furniture was chipped, peeling, and stained, tile was broken in several places, halls and the room smelled funky. Dings and gouges in walls were everywhere. Door lock was a chain and not a proper latching bolt. There was no art at all in the room—it was like a prison cell. Bathroom had no ventilation fan, so the shower moisture just vented out to the bedroom. We asked to change rooms because the first one was run down; the description above is of the second “better” room. We paid premium price of 343 euros for a room in what was described as an “upscale” hotel and left with a bad cough from breathing moldy air all night. We splurged for our last night in Ireland in a nice hotel, and truly, I have never been more disappointed. The good parts: staff was friendly and the shuttle was easy to the airport.

Based on my own visit, this place was a massive disappointment. It is really gross when a hotel charges way more for a room then what you get. Honestly this is barely a two star, prepared for disappointment. I will not be going back.
