"We loved this place and after our stay were very surprised we didn’t see it recommended more. The grounds especially,well maintained the birds in the area were gorgeous and a highlight of breakfast a lovely pool to enjoy with hot springs either side of the pool which were fab. The pools were all open really late which meant we could enjoy a cocktail while the kids played in the pool after a busy day In the fab area. It’s located at the top of the road from downtown fortuna but we didn’t have a car and never struggled to get an Uber either down to the town or around to the main attraction like the volcano hikes or zipling etc. Staff at both the restaurant and front desk were both super welcoming and friendly. The only think if I was being picky is our room was a little dated looking, a bit dark and the shower was a bit of pain to use but overall we LOVED our stay here. "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! We spent three nights and booked all of our tours and drivers through the hotel and everything was wonderful. All of our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel grounds are beautiful and the spas are lovely. We ate in all three restaurants and enjoyed all of our meals and the breakfast buffet had many choices. Costa Rican coffee is delicious and the service was outstanding. The room was very nice with a private patio where I could watch the birds each morning. The air conditioning cooled the room to a nice temperature. We had plenty of time to relax and go on adventures. I highly recommend this hotel. Pura vita! "

"Really felt like staying in the rainforest, but with excellent food and service. Villa was very private. Not a wildlife preserve, but we did see monkeys, a mom and baby sloth, birds, and lizards on the expansive property. The geothermal pools and the use of all 3 Nayara restaurants and facilities were major plusses that probably aren't emphasized enough."

"Amazing experience at our resort and to Costa Rica! If you go to La Fortuna I would highly recommend this resort. Having the Arenal volcano literally in our back yard was amazing Such a beautiful sleeping giant. Thank you and Pura Vita!"
