Book a hotel near El Yunque National Forest, Puerto Rico

"This is a top-notch resort. Staff was attentive, rooms were comfortable and property was well manicured. It’s a beautiful beach and a very nice place to stay. What I didn’t like were the hidden costs. There were so many taxes added to each and every day that it was about another $100 a day. Plus, the additional cost of self parking is ridiculous! The price that is advertised is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want a spa, golf course, tennis and pickle ball courts, a great pool and beach where you want to relax and hang out at the resort all day, everyday, it’s great. We were hardly here, so it was kind of a waste of money for us. "

"The Rainforest Inn is in a class all by itself. The location is convenient to El Yunque Rainforest hikes and easy to get to. The accommodations (and fresh-tasty breakfast) are first rate. You are asked for your coffee order conveniently before breakfast so you can enjoy a fresh cup before breakfast outside overloking the lush vegetation and the Atlantic. The owners greet you when you arrive with a tasty welcoming drink and get yoi settled in. A wonderful, helpful staff (shout out to Diane) that is available to answer questions, help with directions and just generally help you feel at home. A yoga room, saltwater pool and a hiking trail just outside you door. Go here. Relax. Hike. Zen Out and prepare yourself for a once in a lifetime stay. "

"Very nice hotel with clean rooms, helpful staff, and especially loved the beach right on the property. Much more peaceful and less people than going out to a public beach. The restaurants on site are great too. "
