Showers could definitely be updated. I’d give the actual shower a 1.5 rating. A drink package would be nice. Basic frozen drinks were super expensive. A kids frozen drink was outrageous considering they contain zero alcohol. Food and drink prices were much too high! The resort itself, it was amazing! The staff was great, desert was great, views were great but would have loved to have stayed on property for more meals but you could leave the resort and pay less for a nicer meal.

Had a great time at this resort! View was amazing and rooms were nice and clean. On our last night there they had a little shopping market which was so nice to look through! It got a bit noisy on the weekend, but the view and ambience completely made up for it!

This place was absolutely stunning! Everywhere you went there were amazing views of the ocean, the beautiful grounds the sculptures and fountains and swimming pools. The food was amazing and there were plenty of gift shops and coffee places as well. Our room was by the harbor with a balcony where you could see the sunrise and sunset.

Love El Conquistador

El Conquistador was a wonderful experience. Beautiful hotel, lavishly refurbished after Hurricane Maria. Some sections are still under repair but that had no bearing on our stay. They threw a fun Super Bowl party. There are lots of restaurants and bars on property and the private island is very nice. All the staff were very friendly and helped create an even nicer stay.
