Go someplace else if you can afford it.
Looks like 90% has not been updated since the 80s. Left in the morning and did not come back back til almost 6pm the room was not cleaned. I picked up the phone in the room to call the lobby and the phone didn’t work. When I when to the lobby and told them they said I had to ask to be cleaned. Ridiculous .

Definitely not worth the price!!
Desk clerks were nice. Had a nice bathroom mirror and shower was okay. Toilet seat was loose and we had to tighten it. Door to get in was awful and you couldn’t hardly open it. Window had a big crack, pool was closed, beds and pillows were okay but not the most comfortable. Breakfast was all carbs- pancakes, toast bagels, cereal and muffins. Not even peanut butter. Did have some apples.

Don’t stay here.
I would never stay here again. It’s way over priced. The bath tub had not been cleaned. There was a large hole in the bathroom wall where someone hd slammed the door knob into the wall multiple times. It’s low class.

It was older property it was clean. Easy to get to my National Federation Of Democratic Women Convention. On a fixed income but that was not stop me.

The staff was unbelievably kind and helpful! The only downfall if this hotel was the fact that it needs maintenance pretty bad like our door jam lock was busted in our room and the other room we were staying in the freezer didn’t exist in our fridge. I think there was supposed to be a freezer in there, but it definitely wasn’t cold enough to tell it was a freezer.

My stay was terrible. The dirtiest room I ever had. The door lock was broken. I was locked in. Worker spend 20 minutes with no fixing. I was trying to take a rest before meeting family. I end up moving to another more dirt room with ants crawling. Stained bed cover and dirty carpet and couch.

Greatly enjoyed the shrubbery with beautiful orange roses. Room was fresh and clean. Shower in room 205 had a slight issue with the knob and the fridge/freezer did not work properly or keep things cold. Overall a great option for budget conscious travelers. Pet friendly hotel with no signs or smells of pets.

The staff is what makes this place great. In the room, found bugs in the lotion and the Ceiling started leaking water in the restroom area. Unfortunately, the place needs a lot of repair work. Other than that it was a good experience. You could tell they were trying to renovate the hotel back to a higher quality. So I wanna give them an A for effort but the place still need some work.

This property has so much potential! It was clean and the room fit our needs. There should be coffee cups and a tray at the coffee maker space. Sprucewood looks like a project in progress which is great, but attention should be paid to the entrance area to make it more inviting. There are some wonderful landscape pieces around the building but the weeds need to be pulled and mulch or river rock laid around the plantings. Bringing this property to it's potential is certainly an expensive project, but upgrading the linens would be a priority in the guest rooms. I wish you luck on this project. As I said, there is so much potential in this property. I would like to come back and see the progress.

The second shift gentleman was super nice and helpful! That is about the only thing this place had going for it. The front lobby was clean and the staff was nice. The entire place probably should have been demolished instead of trying to freshen it up. The place looks like it is falling down. The bed linens were all clean but everything on the beds had stains on them. Every fixture was falling off the walls and the walls had cracks in them. The outlets did not work. The outside of the building was falling apart and the weeds were terrible. If you are looking for somewhere cheap then this is the place. It was adequate but that is all I can give it.
