I had to extend my stay by a day and chose to do it directly at the hotel rather than through Expedia. The manager ended up charging me five times the quoted rate and ghosted me after repeated attempts just to get a receipt.

The staff was friendly, attentive and expedient, especially the check-in; for check-out, the staff was super-accommodating to switch to a late checkout same-day, since we were running behind in our schedule. My only issue was with the coffee bar/breakfast area, as there were zero napkins provided for the duration of our stay, even during the posted complimentary breakfast hours; there were zero lids for the coffee cups provided during the duration between check-in & check-out, and the coffee urns on our departure day were emptied by the middle of the breakfast hours and not refilled by time we were leaving, late. I understand the staffing was minimal and figured there were likely shortages of manpower to cover a guest's anticipated needs...but napkins are pretty basic, & we used up all of our bathroom tissues in lieu of having napkins at the breakfast area. I definitely was pleased with the location of this property, the comfort of our room, and grateful for a working fridge for our necessities in the room as well. We look forward to staying again on our next visit to Fairmont.

Nightmare-Currently this hotel is not fit for guests during the transition. I was not going to post this but I left Sunday and still do not believe I am checked out on their end. The front desk was all new people and Management was all on vacation. The bride was told we could check in early so I called on my way around 2 to see if my room was ready. I was rudely told that check in was at 3. When I arrived around 2:30 she had no intentions of letting us in until 3 regardless of whether our rooms were ready. That lady left at 3 and the young man/lady checking us in couldn’t find any of our rooms nor my reservation. Our rehearsal dinner was at 4 and we were still trying to get our rooms at 3:30-3:45. We were going to switch hotels but the bride was made promises for the guests that made us stay, plus we got back late. I talked to the front desk after the rehearsal and he was surprised I was in room 303 because I hadn’t been checked in on his end. The shower in 303 sounds like a crying cat unless you get it in the perfect position and the air conditioner sounds like a plane taking off like a prior review stated. Check out- The same lady from check in could not check me out without calling management. I told the lady I was staying until we had it settled and I had a receipt. The second person she called said they couldn’t check me out until someone else took care of it and I’d get a call in an hour. Called corporate and still have not heard back.

First room hadn’t been cleaned so had to get another one in the other side of the building. Very noisy. Room right next to a hospital and a helicopter landed and took off around 11pm. Noisy neighbors also. Bathroom could have been cleaned better

It is nice enough for a night passing through the area. There wasn't much for breakfast this time. I was disappointed that they didn't have my discounted rate in their system. It took me a while to find my confirmation email so I could show them. They did honor it though once I produced the email.

Nice place. Like some others have said. The front of the hotel is backwards to the road you take to get to it. If you are using gps it will take you across the field from the hotel. I guess there will be another road some time later. They are getting ready to remodel the hotel. It doesn't look that bad for a remodel. Very clean and comfortable and quiet. Will stay again if in the area. Good price. There is breakfast also.

We had a nice room with a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel recently changed names and I paid when I did the early check-in and had to pay again when we arrived.

The front desk staff were pleasant. Rooms and lobby were very clean. The location is a bit strange, but extremely convenient to restaurants, shopping (and a hospital ER literally in the back yard should you need it) - as well as less than 15 minutes from Fairmont State. We were here on a Saturday evening, and the hotel was very quiet.

Very nice room. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Good waffles for breakfast. The front desk had a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a jar of dog treats. Will stay here again next week on my way home.

Went downhill.
Condition of hotel went down alot in 2 years. It just changed ownership. I wont stay there again if its not brought up. Lady at front desk was great.
