"This is my second time staying at The Landing. I always have such a great stay and will be returning for the third time in May for my daughter's graduation. The staff is amazing. Ant and LaMonica at the front desk went above and beyond. They, along with the rest of the staff, greet you will smiles and are so helpful. They along are the main reason we like staying here. The rooms are clean, quiet and they also have a bar/lounge. Plus, The Landing is conveniently located near Hampton University. It is also located by the marina and provides a beautiful view. The NASA Langley Air & Space Museum is also walking distance along with a number of small businesses. I highly recommend staying here."

"This house is perfect for a family getaway. It's a short drive to Buckroe Beach, local parks and downtown. The neighborhood is full of families and children. The house itself is beautifully decorated to give you that "I'm on vacation at the beach" vibe. But moreso than that, it has the most thoughtful extra touches - there are beach chairs, there's a Pack n Play and a kitchen booster seat in case you have a little one, there's a big yard so the kids can go outside and get out of your hair. The beds were comfortable, the house was exceptionally clean, and following the check in steps were super easy. I got regular messages from the owner to check in, so I feel confident that if any issues had occurred, we wouldn't have had any problem getting a quick resolution. We will definitely stay here again in the future. "

"I am just going to be honest. The pictures on this website is not what the room really looks like, The room was in poor condition, dirty, disgusting, room smelled like mildew and cigarette smoke. The walls were dirty, grimy and peeling. I did not take my shoes off or use the shower because it did not look clean. The AC was on when I got there and it smelled like dirty air because the AC was dirty and I had to turn it off. If you have allergies, stay away from this nasty place. I was charged $2.00 for using the key to the room and it was non-refundable. I did not feel safe and I could hear people talking in the next through the walls. It said free wifi and that did not work. I called the front desk and the lady said she was going to fix it and call me back and I never received a call back, so I went without wifi. Thank goodness it was only one night. Just a disgusting place! Go at your own risk."

"Listing is accurate of what is available at the property.Communication with the property manager was great! We had no internet/TV the first day of our stay. A technician and the property manager came out the next day to fix the situation. Provided our party with an extra night for the inconvenience. We will defiantly stay again!"
