"A beautiful property with lush plants and trees, the Turtle Apt is a fantastic deal for the Big Island. It’s located near good restaurants, shopping, groceries, and gas, and is a relatively short drive from Hilo. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. Just remember to bring some good plugs. The jungle comes alive at night with frogs, dogs, and roosters. "

"We had 6 adults and 3 kids in our group, and this place had plenty of space for us to spread out. The upstairs kitchen has a gorgeous view stretching out to the ocean. It leads out to a nice lanai with the same view and plenty of seating. The carport is a large outdoor living area where lots of folks can gather and hangout. 5 minute drive from Kaleos which was great when we were too tired to cook!"

"I loved my stay at this historic guest cottage! What a great find…close to town and has a sparkling pool! Home was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well stocked, grounds beautiful. If you appreciate plantation buildings, this one is so beautiful and rare. I needed and used the supplied earplugs to drown out the roosters but this home is BUG FREE. I loved eating breakfast daily on the lanai and watching the wildlife. Highly recommend. Lisa is kind, helpful, and lovely. Thanks for a great 10 day stay!!"
