Nice hotel in the centre of Gdansk. We visited for the Christmas market and it was directly on our doorstep. The only downside to this hotel is that it's very noisy at night. The hotel provided earplugs but I still found it difficult to sleep as the area is bustling and the noise continued into the early hours of the morning.

Such a lovely place! In a heart of old city, very beautiful building. Best option for “pedestrian” vacation (as parking seems a bit struggle) as everything - from grocery stores to fine dining, museums etc in 10 minutes walk distance. Staff are real superheroes, always willing to do extra mile. Kudos to receptionists who always willing to help even in the middle of the night. Restaurant looks nice unfortunately I had no time to dine or lunch in there, only breakfast- which as good as simple with plenty amount of options for decent price Last but not least cleaning crew are top tier Thank you everyone! You definitely made my holidays

Perfect stay in a quiet place and a great location. Heavy desodorisant smell but although I am usually very sensitive to this, it didn't bother me that much. Very hot water, a kettle, fridge, tea.

Public parking nearby, got lucky and found a spot quickly. Hotel does not have parking. Staff was nice, room is nice, and the hotel is right in the middle of the action in Gdańsk.

The room was good but small. Location is great however the noise was not good. Loud live music all night esp on weekend. Wouldn’t sleep here again without hearing protection eg earplugs. Very loud but close to everything

Fantastic Fama
One of the absolutely best things about this Hotel is the amazing location just at the start of the pedestrianised Old Town in Gdansk just after you enter through The Golden Gate. The staff are lovely and very kind and helpful. Yvonner went above and beyond to help us with information about using public transport, buying bus tickets and locating the airport bus stop. Also Sebastian was always incredibly polite, helpful and charming. The street does get very noisy at night but you can get peace and quiet by just closing the thick double glazed windows. It was great having a Hotel with a fabulous location, lovely helpful staff, clean comfortable room, air conditioning that worked and a lift! Thankyou Fama Residence for making our trip to Gdansk and our stay right in the heart of the beautiful Old Town so great! We will be back!!

The most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept in, instant hot water, quiet and great hotel restaurant. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly, but I must make special mention of personable Sebastian. Hotel is in a great location for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing. My stay was extremely pleasant. A definite return for me.

Great location and friendly staff
For a three-star hotel, Fama residence exceeded our expectations in many ways. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to solve an issue we had- non-functioning wifi in our room. They got us an in-room router the next morning. The breakfast was also excellent with great choices especially in fruit selection and wonderful breads, and they replenished everything very quickly. And you cannot beat the location- it is right by the Golden Gate, easy walking distance to everywhere. Even though there were constant in-flow of people and our room was facing the street, the windows did a very good job blocking street noise. All in all it was a very comfortable stay!!
