We love Andaz, and almost always stay here when we’re back in Ottawa. But just know that right now the lot behind the hotel is being bulldozed and dug out (there is also no longer any onsite parking, as a result of this). Construction begins at 7am and is extremely loud. Thankfully they didn’t seem to be doing much on the weekend. I know there’s nothing to be done, this is the downtown experience. The staff were very accommodating, they had my room ready at noon (probably bc earlier guests didn’t want to sit around in that noise, which freed up the room to be cleaned sooner) and they still offer a free glass of wine upon arrival - nice touch. With no onsite parking, Valet parking at $48 a night is extremely expensive for Ottawa, in my opinion.

Nice hotel - housekeeping should be thorough.
Overall, it was a nice stay. My room didn’t have some items - Kleenex, enough towels and the complimentary beverages were OPEN in the fridge. I’m talking pop cans that were open.

So close to amazing just needs new pillows
The hotel was great, clean, upscale, staff was super friendly and helpful. I loved the location and all of the assistance. The bed was not the most comfortable and the pillows were horrible. If I ever stay here again and I do plan to I would bring my own pillows. If it wasn’t for the bed and pillow situation would have been 5 stars

I’ve stayed at the Andaz many times when visiting Ottawa, each stay equally wonderful. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are stocked with premium full sized toiletries. Both the restaurant and bar are terrific and must-do stops on any trip to Ottawa, whether staying as a guest at Andaz or not.

Great stay and friendly staff who were able to accommodate early check in. Booked a view king room but was sad not to be on the side of the building with a nicer view (towards parliament). However the room was great and very clean. Construction was going on at the building right beside the hotel but didn’t affect our stay. Thanks
