Home away from home.
The R Hotel is perfectly placed to the water's edge, the restaurants, great walks, the city centre and all of its main attractions. We were able to leave the car for most of our stay and walk and explore the local area. The room was very comfortable, spacious and very well appointed. It really felt like home away from home. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was serviced over the weekend, (which doesn't always happen). We had a great view over the bay and gardens, which contributed to a real feeling of space and relaxation. We would highly recommend the hotel as a great place to stay and enjoy the many highlights of Central Geelong.

Spacious quiet clean, a lot of hotels talk the talk but this one lived up to talk. Good balcony great water pressure in shower. The only thing is I think hotels need to change their mattresses more often ..I'm over the king beds that look great but sag either side of the middle.
