"What a wonderful comfortable stay! We were given an very generous upgrade which completely shocked me as I've never actually had an upgrade from any hotel/motel ever. A very clean and tidy establishment inside and out. The staff was both very kind and professional. The continental breakfast was delicious and not overwhelming. As well as the recommendations for our evening dinner were wonderful little family run restaurants. The Hotel Guest Service Agent (Heather) was absolutely wonderful. I had come to the city in order to have dental surgery and she made the entire stay very comfortable for me by making sure I had everything I needed. She actually made me feel as though we had been friends forever. I have recommended this establishment to multiple friends who have since asked if this would be a good staycation place. I know where I will be staying my next trip to the city. Not too far out of Calgary and definitely gets the highest rating I can give."

"Email sent after I requested info on checkin saying we were on our way-telling us we needed to bring towels. Someone working on shower when we arrived and did not get it fixed. Not enough amenities for number of people it says accommodates. Photos online must have been taken a few years ago-interior is well used."

"This was like stepping into a different time and place. The house, although dated, has a seamless European vibe with fixtures and details that are uncommon, authentic and charming. The home was obviously much loved and cared-for when it was built and is an absolutely perfect summer home. The location is so beautiful, overlooking the turquoise water of ghost lake with multiple patios from which to take in the view. We went with friends and cooked gourmet meals together in the open kitchen then feasted at the big dining room table that is the focal point of the main floor. It was delightful. The place has also seen better days... The grounds are not well cared-for with lots of dead plants, most things are quite worn-out, with broken stairs to the water and a completely buckled and inaccessible dock. Even with all of that, we still just loved this place for its uniqueness and character. "
