We stayed for one night in order to have a full day at the canyon. Being so close made getting to the canyon for sunrise (worth it!) very convenient.
The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet, overlooking a forest. Parking was easy. Check in and out was simple and quick.
The hotel has a dated, slightly worn feel and it’s certainly nothing special in and of itself but for the purpose we wanted it for it was great. Would stay again.
Wonderful place to stay, close to south rim. Walked to general store, post office, dining. Away from busy village. Could've used shuttles to get everywhere we wanted. Loved it!

Liked: Cleanliness
Our room is beside the ice maker and service room, noisy. Complained and they offer us to change room and offered us free breakfast. I like the surrounding staying in the park, with stars glazing is another plus point. Food maybe limited but easy access to the park save a lot of time.

Liked: Staff & service
Great location, very convenient to Grand Canyon viewing areas and hiking.
We had a great stay, bathroom slightly on the old side but had good water pressure. Had a few things that needed to be fixed, called housekeeping and it was dealt with quickly. We had wifi access from our lodges. Close to front desk, dining, grocery store by driving - can walk but seemed like it was very dark.
The staff at Yavapai Lodge was outstanding! The layout of the lodging options created a sense of spaciousness. The rooms were very quiet. The amenities were nice. Food in the lodge was delicious. A transportation stop for buses servicing Grand Canyon NP, its location was very convenient.
Stayed at Yavapai for three nights. If this were a hotel somewhere else, I would have issues but what kind of idiot would complain about the WiFi or the TV at the GRAND CANYON?! Sure, it was a little…lived in, but the room was clean and the bed was a comfortable place to rest your aching body after hiking all day. The shower was hot. We were safe from the canyon’s notoriously vicious squirrels. Can’t complain.
