Not really a restaurant onsite
More like a cafeteria
There’s no place like the Grand Canyon and the lodges are justly famous but a lttle attention to room amenities would not be amiss: no microwave in room and the beverage maker didn’t work at all - so no coffee in the morning and no tea at night. Other than that the accommodations were adequate and there is no experience quite like driving back to your room at night and almost running into an elk family.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic but you get to stay inside the park for an affordable rate. The beds are comfortable and room was clean. I would suggest getting there before it gets dark, as it is very, very dark and hard to find the room or see the signs. I was traveling with my kids and would absolutely stay here again.
Yavapai Lodge is a great place to stay while experiencing the Grand Canyon. It is a more rustic accomodation, think cabins and dining hall. The rooms were clean and it's very quiet and peaceful. There is no wifi in the rooms, only in the main building where check in and the dining hall are located. There is a great market where you can buy water, groceries and alcohol.
Absolutely loved the lodge located within the GC National park. Lots of happy people , lots of compadre and a connected experience. I will go again .. 🌺

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Great venue, on the blue Gtand Canyons n shuttle bus route.
No locks on the outside corridor doors so anyone can enter the building. Carpets in the public areas looking really worn and old.
If you have mobility difficulties, book a ground for room. I couldn’t see any elevators to the first floor.
