Very good
The room was clean ,also ensuite was clean with plenty of towels. We did not eat in the hotel as we were out with family so cannot comment . Hotel is fairly close to busy roads but you cannot hear or see traffic . We were pleased with our choice of hotel .

Okay for Grimsby out of town
Small room. Low water pressure in the shower. Great to have seafood options for breakfast. Pity the 'three scrambled eggs' with salmon one morning was around one egg and very overcooked. Evening meals were fine.

The bedroom just felt a little tired (our loo blocked but that was just one of those things). That said it was good value and there were many plusses (staff shared areas etc). If staying again for more than a night would go for an executive room

Very small and tired rooms. No fridge. In need of some TLC and an upgrade. Bathroom tiles and around bath mouldy. Bed mattresses need an upgrade Staff great and very friendly. Restaurant area nice. They need to put the same care into the ground floor rooms.

The building itself is beautiful, a Victorian country house, and set in woodland. There's plenty of parking at the front of the hotel. Inside, it was welcoming and clean. My room was very comfortable, a lovely bed in which I had a fantastic nights sleep. I was happy to be able to open the window and get some fresh air (not like a well known chain that seals windows shut!). The only thing that may disturb your stay is the creaking floorboards, it is an old building after all. They didn't cause an issue for me, but I was extremely tired! I didn't have the breakfast so cannot comment on that. I loved my stay and will definitely try and visit again, but next time stay for longer.

Lovely hotel, room was very clean, view from window was non existent, if it hadn’t been for that I’d have given 5 stars. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. A bit noisy on the second night due to a wedding, but it did finish before 12. Loads of room for parking
