"Well run, well maintained small hotel in an excellent location, easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and the downtown area. But, not so close to the main drag that you hear all of the loud motos and ATVs. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are not overly large, but are very comfortable. The area is a little off the beaten path, but more interesting for that reason. We ran into people from France, Spain, Italy, Canada, and relatively few Americans. It definitely helps to speak some Spanish. "

"Wonderful hotel with super friendly staff. It's right on the beach, easy parking in front. Very central, short walk to stores and restaurants. Great breakfast buffet but you also have a kitchen. Big pool with a bar. We have visited Las Terrenas multiple times and this is our favorite place to stay. "

"Hotel Alisei is quaint and charming. No frills but everything you need. Very clean property throughout. Cute pool, excellent spa and massage. Lovely beach right across the little street with a nice bar and food. The staff is attentive and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. Very good complimentary breakfast, too. Conveniently located to other points of interest. Highly recommend Hotel Alisei if you’re in Las Terrenas. "
