"We loved our stay at Hala Ulu Lulu. If you want a more authentic Hawaiian stay, this is it! The cottage sits far back from the road and was absolutely charming. We loved the Hawaiian decor and interesting artwork through the space. We loved the relaxed feeling of the neighborhood and were spoiled by the gorgeous sunrise and sunset. The location was perfect and close to the National Park and Pīpīwai Trail- Waimoku Falls. We took a morning stroll out the front door to Waioka Pond (the "Venus Pools") which was jaw dropping gorgeous. Our last day we explored Wai'anapanapa State Park which is one of our favorite spots.You can’t go wrong with Hale Ulu Lulu!Only problem was an ant invasion with some of our food.
