"One of the best place for family get away. Romantic cute warm cozy with moose in kitchen windows view, comfortable bed and pillows. We got a very good night sleep. Bedroom was nice and private. Lots of movies. pantry was full with easy dinner and breakfast options. Shower is very small, but manageable. hot water smells bad it took a little bit to getting used to. Everything else is 10 out of 10. I would definitely stay here again and recommend any family with kids. They will really enjoy this place."

"First.let me get the bad out of the way. The water, especially in the shower stops randomly but give it a few second and it comes back. Disorienting at first but you get used to it.Remember it’s well water brought in by pump. When it’s 30 below it will need some patience!.That’s it for negatives. Just know that it’s out of town — which is why it’s quiet and peaceful and you really can see the Aurora Borealis!We arrived during a massive snowstorm. As soo. As it stopped, they came to plow the driveway and shovel the porch, much appreciated!The chalet itself is very cozy and comfortable. There is parking right by the porch. The cleaned I g requirements were minimal -wipe up your messes and start the dishwasher take out the trash. That’s a welcome change from most places that require guests to strip beds and so laundry.I’m sure there are posher rentals, but they come with posher prices. This place was fantastic, well-appointed and an absolute delight! Don’t pass this by. It’s a wonderful home base to enjoy Fairbanks area and even to just sit back in and drink some hot cocoa and relax!"

"This is a great safe clean tidy convenient very affordable quiet and close to the Vegas Airport place to stay for the night. The room had lots of unexpected extras too… a little coffee machine, micro, fridge, a safe, blow dryer, and even sample size shampoos, conditioners, lotions and soaps. The bed was big and comfy and appealing with pretty pictures framed above it. I’m used to laying $40 dollars more for places not as nice or convenient. Joseph the check in guy was so kind and thoughtful and professional. I’m staying here next time."

"We rented this in hopes of seeing the aurora, but the weather wasn’t having it. The house was a nice size for the four of us and convenient to North Pole and Fairbanks. Recommend "

"Beautiful house with all the amenities needed to feel at home. Kitchen is well stocked and lots of toys for the kids. Beautiful deck to sit and drink coffee in the morning. Would stay again!"

"It’s not clear if the owners live here or not, but I would not trust their ad. It’s a great location, fun for the family and we enjoyed it because we’re used to camping in tents. Take that for what it is. We expected a functional bathroom and kitchen, we did not get this. Power and water did not work, dead bugs and signs of not seeing the property in months. Their response “you’re the first people to stay this season”… it’s June. After texting back and forth with the owner we got the kitchen to work. They were responsive, but wanted me to troubleshoot the situation. Water did not work. They had me refill the tank, which I did. It worked for about an hour and then it was empty. They sent someone to fill the water tank after lots of confusion, but it was empty by the morning. It was pretty inconvenient to rent a cabin that advertised a full kitchen and bathroom for a family to only find out it had not been maintained in months. They did refund us, which was appreciated, after our kids couldn’t use the toilet in many days. However, we got a request for a payment for cleaning because they don’t check their property in more than 3 weeks and some wildlife spread trash on the property. If it were me, I’d check it after “check out time” when they only offer a tiny trash can to dispose of things in."
