Book a hotel near Hightower Creek Vineyards, Hiawassee

"Just got back from a long weekend stay at the Treehouse lodge which was very nice and there is a well marked sign at the driveway so it was easy to find. It was well furnished and the leather seating sectional around the fireplace was so comfy. We never felt cold inside though outside was cold. We played lots of pool downstairs which we all enjoyed and the table was in excellent condition. In fact everything in the house was top notch and was so detailed in the decorating. Washer and dryer also excellent! From here, downtown Hiawassee was 10 minutes. There is a nice weekend buffet 20 minutes away near Young Harris at the Brasstown Valley resort open to all. We road horses 20 minutes away at Chunky Gal stables in Haysville. Really recommend it and the owner Rob whi knows all the horses personally. Finally, for those who are addicted to pickleball, there are 14 courts just past downtown Hiawassee which we played even in the cold! "

"This property is centrally located to a variety of things to do. The cabin itself is cozy and inviting. The grade is very steep to and from, so snow or ice could present a problem. The two fireplaces have gas logs which is extremely nice and convenient. The newly renovated kitchen is a plus. The furniture is comfortable and the towels are plush. The owner was responsive and great to work with."
