This hotel is a great value and perfect location in Hanoi! The staff was incredible and always aiming to please. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious.It's a fairly new hotel in a great location....we could walk everywhere. The beds were a little bit hard for my liking but it didn't stop me from having a great night's sleep. There was a minor conflict with our booking, as the previous person in our room decided to have a late check-out. The manager was extra-accomodating offering us discounts or accomodation at the sister hotels to make up for our inconvenience. The manager ensured we were well taken care of and what could have been a huge annoyance was handled professionally with above-and-beyond service! I highly recommend staying here for those who are looking for good value and top-quality service. I would definitely stay here again!

Our family of 4 (including boys aged 13 and 11) stayed for 5 nights at the Hanoi Royal Palace Hotel 2 and found it was good. The location is excellent - in the heart of the Old Quarter with Hoan Kiem Lake, Train Streets, and zillions of other stores, dining options, and sights within short walking distance. The staff were all excellent and SO helpful (including helping us order pizza one evening). The Family Room with Large Window that we’d reserved for 5 nights turned out to be smaller than we’d hoped for, and we still ended up staying 3 nights in such a room, but staff were helpful with providing us a low cost upgrade to a larger room for a couple nights when one was available which helped us make do with the smaller room for three nights. We might not book the smaller room again if a larger room is available for just a little more cost. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. And again location was awesome! Would recommend.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is situated in an alley so not much disturbance from the honking on the streets. Short walk to shops and to Quan An Ngon for Vietnamese food. The staff are friendly. Cuong was especially helpful. The breakfast, fruit juices and internet access are a nice touch. The staff made every effort to make sure we were comfortable. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff - arranged day trips and taxis very efficiently. Rooms were spacious and clean, room service very good. Staff all very happy and seemed genuinely pleased to see us. Breakfast good, omelettes made to order and fresh fruit available. Perfect position to explore old town and French quarter and easy walking distance to the lake - as long as you take card crossing the roads. Saturday seemed to be car free day - enhanced general experience.

The hotel is well appointed, spotlessly clean, well located and the staff very welcoming -what more could you ask for! The hotel gave advice on tours and travel and their descriptions and recommendations proved accurate and useful. They arranged train, boat (Halong Bay), and air travel plus a bus tour, for me and and met and delivered me to each with no fuss I would definately stay there again.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and cannot speak more highly of it. Staffs were so friendly and welcoming. In the old part of Hanoi which is great for wandering the little streets full of local charm and lots of great eateries all round. The breakfast was great each morning freshly cooked and a nice choice. We stayed in two different rooms one night in a deluxe and one is a Royal room. If you can afford the Royal room do as it had a lovely big balcony overlooking the city. The staff once again was wonderful and they are a credit to the hotel. Anyway to sum up a great hotel and good location - we wouldn't hesitate to return again

We chose the deluxe room and was very nice and clean. The staff were excellent and friendly and very helpful. We booked direct with the hotel and communications channels were brilliant maintained to ease any pressures as this was our first visit to Hanoi. We were picked up from the airport byb the hotel. Great location to walk around the old quarter and take in the life of Hanoi.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for 1 night. Being a solo traveler the staff here made me feel welcome from the very second I walked in. They arranged my airport transfer. The rooms are top quality and clean with all the modern convinces, flat screen TV, aircondintioned and lovely bathroom. The decor is fresh and modern with nice ambient lighting. The staff arranged my day tour of Hanoi and also my 3 day trek to Sapa and breakfast was a nice mix of Western or Asian choices. As my train did not leave for Sapa until 8pm I was able to have my room until 5pm for half the normal rate. Even though I was not planning to stay in Hanoi after my return from Sapa the staff arranged for me to be picked up from the train station at 5am in the morning, took me back to the hotel let me shower and gave me breakfast. After breakfast they once again had my airport transfer arranged for me. I travel quite a lot and you would be very lucky if you found another hotel in this price range that offers such friendly and professional service All in all a great place to base your stay in Hanoi as its location is perfect and close to all the major attractions. 10 out 10

Wonderful staff. Room was large enough and in good condition except both beds were very uncomfortable. One has metal springs poking into my back and side. The other was a little better but very hard/firm. The room was quiet even though it is in a busy area. Breakfast was very good

Everything was amazing - Jennie was an excellent host and upgraded us to a suite- the entire staff is very attentive, kind, and really seems to care about the experience. Excellent service! Everyone was extremely nice. They received us with a fresh towel, cookies and water while our room was ready, it only took two minutes. The room was excellent, with flowers and all amenities as expected. Next they at check out I realized people just care to make sure you have a good experience as I saw it with other customers. This is a great little hotel in the old quarter. Great location, quiet room and great price. They even booked my sapa trip for me, which is a great plus. Jimmi and Phuong were really helpful and really nice and chatty.
