Great location and easy public bus ride to Old Town. Room had nice amenities, bathroom needs updating (taps/toilet). The late check out fee was a full nights stay and we only needed 4-hours - very disappointed as they were not at capacity and we were not even there for that evening dinner and the following morning for meals - taken advantage of! Hotel staff need to pick up dishes and garbage, easy to get served but then cups and dishes left around in common areas for days. Concierge and food/bar staff extremely helpful, front desk not so much. Overall very nice experience, most guests were Mexican families which added to the atmosphere. Beach could have more snacks and less people trying to solicit merchandise very annoying. No lifeguard at beach so swim at your own abilities - very fun experience. Great location and fun for families. We were senior travellers with great physical shape, note this facility is not great for people with physical mobility challenges.

The service, all those guys are very friendly and quick when you ask for something, I don’t like the property, it’s to old , the locks are olds and broken, the pool is close to earlier, the food sometimes are horrible for the money I am paid I can stay on better place , the air conditioning not working properly and we feels like we was on sauna

When in Puerto Villarta stay here if you like a charming mexican atmosphere. The hotel is located close to every venue in PV, the staff are the best. They take the time to cater your needs, the rooms need upgrading but the staff and location makes up for it. Ty Cesar

If i were to rate it from 1-10 (10 being the best) i would give this property a 4.5 . There is no wifi in your room only wifi at the lobby and by the pool. In 2024 hard to think hotels dont have wifi in your room . The food that was provided at the pool side was just cheap stuff like fries , hotdog, burgers. Thats it. The food the was provided at the buffet was not any better. If anyone were to read this please just spend and extra 200-300 bucks more and get a nicer resort.

Air conditioner can not be adjusted, rooms are hot. Door knobs and keys are old. Room lighting is poor. Not enough outlets in the room. Rooms need to be remodeled and updated. Staff is friendly. Swimming pool area was nice. Food was good.

It’s a dated hotel, but it’s charming. The food is excellent. Truly authentic Mexican food and had several different options everyday. My kids, 8, 11 and 16 lived their food, but they eat Mexican food anyways. Maybe they should incorporate quesadillas and chicken nuggets for kids that don’t eat much Mexican food. I wish it was beach front, but you can walk about 10 minutes to the beach. It is not so nice at the area of the beach, but it’s ok… our toilet wouldn’t flush properly and we called but it wasn’t fixed. We would literally have to crank it for it to flush. The pool is nice, the snack bar is good and the drinks were great. Overall good experience.

The hotel has the hacienda theme and is not very big - a plus for me, but may not be for everyone. The staff is friendly and helpful but waiters are very slow and don't seem to be overly busy. Several times I got up myself to pour myself a coffee refill or to gran a set of utensils from their stations. Breakfast was fine, but still if you're no an egg eater you may find it challenging. Dinner buffet was worst I've seen at any resort. Very few choices, food was not looking or tasting well, looked old and dried up from being heated for hours. Pizza was so dried up that it looked like it was there for days, which I am sure was not the case. I would still visit but if the price was right and I would only get the breakfast option and skip the all inclusive.
